Fall/Halloween Day 18: Country Home Blends

I created this card to help my SU Downline, Cindy, with a class using Stampin' Up Blends. Besides that is a fun fold with a layout that came from my upline, Lyssa. This old metal style pitcher topped with flowers provides a great opportunity to use a bunch of the different alcohol based blends coloring markers. This card was inspired by one I saw online. I went through a number of version trying to get the look I wanted and to practice with the color lifter. It was used to remove some of the Dark Night of Navy that layered over Light Night of Navy to try and give it a look like it had a shine when light hits it-you know what I mean the shine you see in photos of pitchers like this.

I think this one I will continue to practice with as I'd love to give it some "white" speckles versus all the black ones for a more authentic look but am I am happy with the result that I got.

Dimensions for fun fold:  Base single piece:  4" x 5 1/2". Folded "cover": 10 3/4" x 4 1/4" then score at 2 1/4" and 6 1/2".
